Blue suede shoes… and no silly walks!

blue suede shoes

Well you could’ve knocked me down when I saw these in Clarks! And in the sale… and they’re wide fitting (for my stupidly square feet) and so blue and soooo incredibly comfy and now they are mine!

They go by the name ofΒ Camelia Kate and a bargain, methinks, at Β£34.99. Here’s a link if they make you go ‘ooo’ and you fancy a pair too!

More often than not I will go for quirk over comfort when it comes to shoes, and that usually rules out Clarks, but these little beauties ticked all boxes and were defo one for the money! They have little spongy bits to soothe the ball of your foot which means I don’t look like a member of the ‘Ministry of Silly Walks’ when I come home from work! (usually like the lady with the tea tray)

And before you ask, no of course I don’t have anything for them to go with, that would be plain silly!

  1. What do you mean you have nothing to go with them?? You have some great clothes I am sure you will be able to incorporate these into your wardrobe. What a fabulous colour they are, and I love the heel shape.

  2. Heehee! Do your feet look like the big cartoon one at the end after a hard day too? πŸ™‚
Any blue fabric in your stash, ma’am? You can do anythin’ but don’t step on my blue suede shoes!

  3. Those are AWESOME shoes!! The really amazing thing about funky shoes in great colours is that they can become the center piece of your outfit. Blue shoes are a statement – wear them with jeans, a red skirt, or a black cocktail dress… it all works!!

It will come as no surprise to you that I’m a fan of quirky shoes too… I have a pair of turquoise Fluevogs that go with everything because they go with nothing πŸ˜‰

  4. I now totally blame you for costing me 45 quid today! I went into Clarks to try these shoes on but they didn’t have my size in the blue. I thought I’d try the black on just to check my sizing and then I could order the blue online. When I looked in the mirror at the black pair I realised they too were really pretty, and I’d get a lot more wear out of them – but they weren’t reduced so they cost Β£45. I’m now trying really, really hard not to go online and order the blue as well!

  6. I have something with blue shoes or blue footwear in general, as I own at least 6 pairs of them, ranging from navy over-the-knee suede boots to wellies! So, naturally, your post made me drool! They are fantastic!
